About
At nine years old, Chinedu Ibiam discovered her love for the Theatre when she played Martha Washington in her Elementary school's play about the revolutionary war...
She had no idea what that would blossom into.
Chinedu Ibiam grew up just outside of Boston with her father who immigrated from Nigeria, and her Mother who grew up in North Carolina, and two younger siblings. A love of writing and directing plays with her stuffed animals turned into a love of community theatre and participating in various musicals in the greater Boston area. After participating in various High School productions, Chinedu decided to study Biology and Theatre during her undergraduate years. During this time she performed in productions of Urinetown, Big Fish, Working and wrote music and other scenes for Antigone Ablaze! She was also nominated for the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Musical Theatre Scholarship Audition program.
